Miss Janell has been teaching pre-school for 22 years. She has 9 children and is the owner of Eleve Dance Studios. She loves engaging with busy little bees and seeing her students learn and progress, especially through learning and movement! She also loves to see the world open up when a child learns to read! She loves learning, traveling to new places, and spending time with her family.

Class Description
Our curriculum is based on learning through movement, building good character, and kindergarten readiness skills. We’ve implemented a structured schedule, customized curriculum and limited class enrollment for optimal learning.

11:45-12:00: Welcome Time – Constructive Play/Puzzles/Learning Games
12:00-12:10: Circle Time – Calendar/Weather/Letter & Number Introduction
12:10-12:20: Story & Song Time
12:20-12:40: Fine Motor Skills/Pre-Reading Skills
12:40-1:05: Tumbling/Yoga/Creative Movement
1:05-1:25: Math Lesson
1:25-1:35: Free Play
1:35-1:45: Healthy Snack/Nutrition Lesson
1:45-2:05: Arts & Crafts/Science Lesson (Alternating Days)
2:05-2:15 Clean Up & Mindful Moment/Meditation/Reflection
Tuition
Monthly tuition is $110/month and is based upon an average of 8 classes per month and is due by the 10th day of the month. Students enrolled in preschool qualify for a 5% discount off of dance classes through Eleve Dance Studios. Pay for the entire season by Oct.1st and receive $25 off payment!
Why?: Why choose Bumble Tumble Preschool? We emphasize kinesthetic learning, which is lacking in many curriculums. We also teach to the auditory and visual learner, but kinesthetic learning is what sets us apart! We have 2 qualified teachers to teach a limited 12 students; that means your student is getting MORE personal instruction, which is most important when it comes to mastering fine & large motor skills and reading!
Tuition & Registration: Monthly tuition is $120/month($6/hr) and is based upon an average of 8 classes per month and is due by the 10th day of the month. Curriculum includes 25min. of tumbling/yoga! Students enrolled in preschool qualify for a 10% discount off of dance classes through Vogue Dance Co. April fees will be ½ tuition to compensate for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. The registration fee is $75 per student and is non-refundable. The registration fee covers supplies, insurance for each student and reserves the student’s placement in class. Pay for the entire season by Oct.1st and receive $25 off payment! An ACH Debit form will need to be completed for automated billing, if you wish not to use this form of payment you will need to pay in cash. A minimum of 3 days must be given if canceling automated debiting before the end date!
Age Policy: Bumble Tumble Preschool is licensed for 4-5yr. olds. If your student will be turning 4yrs. by November 30th enrollment will be accepted.
Holidays/No School Days: The first day of class starts September 7th. Thursday, October 28th Halloween Party. Thursday, November 18th Thanksgiving Feast. Tuesday-Thursday Nov. 23-25th No Class for Thanksgiving break. December 21-31st No Class for Christmas Break. Tuesday, February 15th Valentine’s Party. March 22-24th No Class for Spring Break. The last week of classes is April 26-28th. Preschool Graduation will be at the City of Iona tentatively Thursday, April 21st 7 p.m.
Field Trips: We will attend 2-3 optional field trips throughout the season on Fridays. These are extra expenditures. See the monthly Newsletter for more details.
Class Pictures: Class and individual pictures will be taken the first week of March; students will need to purchase a class t-shirt; specifics will be announced in the monthly newsletter.
Attendance Policy: If a parent texts or e-mails before class to inform that their student is sick, a $3 credit will be applied toward April’s tuition. In the event we are unable to hold regularly scheduled classes due to teacher illness or extreme weather, make-up classes will be added to the end of the season.(208-201-5600)
Conduct Code: Students are in the learning phase of interaction with others. Students are given encouraging reinforcement of proper behaviors. Students will receive a verbal warning if their conduct is harmful. Parents will receive a written notice/email if a student needs further correction.
