Policies & Procedures

Elevé Dance Studios (EDS)
Policies and Procedures for Parents and Students
Effective July 1, 2022 through May 31, 2023

Registration

A non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of registration in the following amount:

$35 for Individual
$60 for Family Registration

This fee helps cover administrative expenses, insurance, supplies, building maintenance and secure student placement.

Tuition

School Year Tuition: Tuition for Fall-Spring Session classes is split into 9 payments, which will be processed monthly through pre-authorized automatic payment (AutoPay). AutoPay transactions will be debited from the account on file (checking account, savings account, debit or credit card) on your choice of the 1st or 10th of each month. Checks will be processed through AutoPay, in the same manner as a debit card to immediately verify available funds. Full payment is due each month, even if a student misses any classes during that month. Students are not fully registered without setting up a monthly payment program through AutoPay or processing a one-time prepayment in full. (Auto-Pay will be available to set up starting September)

Customers who do not wish to use their Auto-Pay account for any given month’s tuition may bring in another form of payment before their scheduled AutoPay date, or pay online through the Parent Portal.

If, for any reason, an automatic payment is declined, a declined payment transaction fee of $2 will be applied, and the client will have 10 days from the date of the declined payment to pay the account balance due. If the payment due is not received within the allotted 10 days, an automatic $15.00 late fee will be applied each month until the account is up to date.

AutoPay will stop 31 days after a student has been dropped from class for non-payment or for any other reason. After 90 days, delinquent accounts will be turned over to a collection agency where further collection charges and penalties will be applied.

Dress Code

Required dancewear and dance shoes must be worn to all classes. No bare midriffs allowed in class. Students are not to wear jeans, or shoes worn outdoors to any dance class other than hip hop. For safety reasons, dancers are not to wear any large or dangling jewelry. Hair must be out of the face and longer hair tied back. Nails need to be neatly trimmed and good hygiene kept.

Communication

Eleve` Dance Studios provides multiple lines of communication to keep you and your student informed, including our website, apps (i.e. BAND), social media, and most importantly email. However, it is the responsibility of the parent and/or student to obtain the information. It is imperative, and in your best interest, to have an active email account with which EDS can send up-to-date communications, as well as provide a cell phone number. We rarely, if ever, give out hard copy notes to students. Parents who prefer to receive hard copy notes instead of emails must check with EDS regularly to have them printed. EDS is not held responsible to track down parents to give notes, calendars, or other information. To avoid missing any important information, take advantage of the many lines of communication we have available to you and your student.

Phone and Address Change: It is the responsibility of the guardian or adult student to inform EDS of any contact information change.

Extreme Weather or Unexpected Class Interruption: If classes must be canceled due to extreme weather or events beyond EDS or EDS’s control, we will notify student’s parents/guardians via email, as well as post to our social media pages. No refunds will be given for lessons missed due to extreme weather or unexpected interruption.
